“Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse wouldn’t quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out.”

What is Two Little Mice?
We are a nonprofit that believes in the power of persistence, creativity, and voice. We help young people build emotional resilience and self-awareness through reading, writing, and reflection. Our classes support students as they navigate life’s challenges—encouraging them to express themselves, connect with others, and transform their experiences into strength, one story at a time.
Our Programs

All the Fix-in’s
2-DAY HYBRID PROGRAM
The flagship of Two Little Mice, our 2 day hybrid program covers all things reading and writing; it includes Academic Writing with Grammar Essentials, Exploring History Through Literature, and our new class: Reflections and Resilience: Building Emotional Intelligence Through Writing and Literature. Students spend two full days in class, receiving instruction, working on projects in groups and solo, and completing most of their work—keeping homework minimal.
Enrollment in 2 Day Hybrid also includes 15 days of drop-in study hall for your student, at no extra cost.

Mice in Motion
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES
Mice in Motion is our brand new Volunteer and Community Engagement Club for teens—we partner with local companies and foundations to give our students a chance to help out others in their local community and build lasting friendships.
Our other clubs include Just Write it!, our writing group, and Books and Biscuits, a for-fun book club.

Pick and Choose
A LA CARTE CLASSES
Though the hybrid program is designed for students to take all together, students are also able to enroll in each of our classes—Academic Writing with Grammar Essentials, Exploring History Through Literature, and Reflections and Resilience—separately, so you’re able to tailor your child’s education to their own specific needs.
Enrollment in a la carte classes also includes 5 days of drop-in study hall for your student, at no extra cost.

The Third Place
DROP-IN STUDY HALL
Two Little Mice is open four days a week, Monday-Thursday from 9:30-2:30. During those hours, we offer a brand new service: drop-in study hall! For just a few dollars a day, you can drop your child off during our open hours along with any schoolwork you’d like them to complete, and they can get their work done in a relaxed, coffee shop-like environment. They’ll have quiet hours to work, break and lunch times to socialize with other students, and drinks and snacks available to purchase.
