Who We Are

Our First Year

2024-2025 marked the first year of Two Little Mice. We started our journey with a two day hybrid program focusing on reading and writing. With 2 teachers, 1 assistant, and 10 students, we formed a small and tight-knit community. Going forward, we are looking to expand and add more programming every year.

Our Team

Hannah Lannswift

Founder, Executive Director, Teacher

Hannah has over five years of experience teaching and tutoring in a variety of co-ops and microschools, where she fosters a love of learning through creativity and connection. A passionate writer and mentor, she has led multiple writing groups and book clubs, and served for two years as the Municipal Liaison for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), where she’s also been a dedicated participant for over a decade. Hannah has written three novels and a dozen short stories, and she loves helping others discover the joy and power of storytelling. As a proud Fort Wayne native, Hannah loves exploring her hometown with her husband and two daughters, whether they’re browsing books at the library, enjoying a day at the park, or just sitting at home watching a movie!

Her master’s degree is in medieval history, with a focus on the British Isles. She’s been fortunate enough to participate in three archaeological excavations and surveys–one at a Native American settlement in southern Indiana, one at a Tudor estate in Essex, and one at an early medieval ringfort in County Roscommon, Ireland. Two Little Mice Scholarship Fund

Finances shouldn’t get in the way of a child’s education. We work diligently all year long to be able to work with families where they are. A big way we do that is through our scholarship fund. Every dollar goes towards programs and books for our students.

Two Little Mice Newsletter

New this year, we are rolling out the Two Little Mice Newsletter! It will be sent out by email once a month, and will include events put on by Two Little Mice, along with fun events going on locally, reading recommendations, writing prompts, photos from our families, and anything else interesting we find.
